Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 22 May 2026
This policy explains clearly and straightforwardly how the Setia Bina website uses cookies — small files placed on your device when you visit — and what choices you have about them. We aim to use only what is reasonably needed to keep the site working well and understand how it is used.
If you have questions, please write to [email protected].
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a notice.
Cookies do not contain personal information by themselves, though they can be linked to you when combined with other data. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can change this setting — instructions are provided further down this page.
There are different kinds of cookies, which we explain in the next section.
2. The Cookies We Use
We categorise the cookies on this site into four groups:
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to function correctly. They manage things like your cookie preference choices and basic site security. You cannot disable them as doing so would affect core site functionality.
Duration: Session or up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors find and use the site — for example, which pages are visited most often, how long visitors stay, and whether they encountered any errors. This information helps us improve the site over time. We use aggregated, anonymised data and do not identify individual visitors.
Duration: Up to 26 months
Marketing Cookies
These cookies may be used to show you relevant information on other websites you visit after leaving ours — for example, if you use a platform that serves context-based advertising. We do not run aggressive advertising, but some third-party tools we may integrate can set these cookies.
Duration: Up to 90 days
Preference Cookies
These remember choices you have made on this site, such as your language or region, so you do not need to re-enter them on future visits. They make your experience a little smoother without collecting sensitive information.
Duration: Up to 12 months
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services rather than by us directly. These may include:
- Google Analytics — used to understand site usage patterns. Google's privacy practices apply to these cookies: policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Maps — an embedded map is included on our main page to help you find our office. Google may set cookies when the map loads.
We aim to keep third-party integrations to a minimum. We do not knowingly allow advertising networks to set tracking cookies without your consent.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies can be either session cookies or persistent cookies:
- Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are used for things like keeping you on the same page as you navigate.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. They are used for preferences and analytics that need to carry across visits.
The duration for each cookie category is noted in Section 2 above.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

7. Your Rights

- Withdraw your consent to optional cookies at any time using the preference controls above.
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and request its correction or deletion.
- Understand how disabling specific cookies will affect your experience on our site.
Please be aware that disabling analytics or preference cookies will not significantly affect your ability to use this website, as its core content remains accessible regardless. Disabling essential cookies through your browser may cause the site to behave unexpectedly.
